Latest trader information (COVID-19)

Following the Government’s update that all non-essential shops are to close, we can confirm that The Eagle Market will now be operating on a partially closed basis. The Eagle Market sits at the heart of its community and provides access to vital services such as food and pet supplies. As some of these essential services can be reached through the market, we will ensure all our visitors are able to access the services they need whilst supporting those traders who need to stay open. A small number of the team will be on hand to make sure the market remains clean and safe places to visit.

The following stores are currently open – individual store times may vary so please check with them before setting off.

  • Martin’s Fruit and Vegetables
  • Pet Superstore

In times like these we at intu are doing what we can to help. We know it’s a small gesture and with Government advice to essential workers to avoid public transport in mind, as of today, anyone who wishes to park in our Basement and Bradshaw Way car parks can do so free of charge. That will help our visitors who need to pick up essential items, key workers who are doing such a fantastic job as well as our local communities.’

We would like to thank our fantastic team at The Eagle Market who are working very hard in very challenging circumstances, to support our traders, serve our communities and take care of one another. Our thoughts are with everyone during this difficult time.

The centre can be accessed on foot via entrances at The Spot (near Poundland) London Road, Albion Street and East Street. If you are driving to the centre please be aware that Centre and Riverside car parks are now closed, but Basement and Bradshaw Way car parks are open.
